Wanda Nara is once again at the center of controversy. In recent hours, it has emerged that she is facing a lawsuit for trademark infringement related to her beauty product line Wanda Cosmetics. According to Infama (América), a businessman claims to be the true owner of the trademarks and is demanding multimillion-dollar financial compensation.
The complainant, identified as Ramiro Rubio, keeps that he registered the trademarks "Wanda Cosmetics" and "W Cosmetics" before the media personality used them publicly in December 2021. He states that the project began in 2016 with a former partner named Wanda, and that in 2021 he formalized the registration with the INPI.

A claim for USD 350,000
Rubio stated that he had to wait two years for the registration to be approved and that he has all the documentation proving ownership. In an interview with Infama, he explained that he tried to solve the conflict through legal channels, although so far only Nara's attorney, Ana Rosenfeld, has appeared.
"She uses the same name and that harms us greatly: her fame overshadows our work. We want her to stop using the brand or for there to be compensation for the damages," he said. The businessman is claiming USD 350,000 in economic damages and asserts that online searches for his brand redirect to Nara's products.
Wanda Nara and her attorney's response
In response to the lawsuit, attorney Ana Rosenfeld completely denied the accusations and announced that Wanda Nara will take legal action in the opposite direction. "We are facing an attempt to usurp Wanda. This person uses the same font, the same bags, and intends to take advantage of an already established name," she stated in television interviews.
The attorney assured that the businesswoman did not violate any regulations and that the case is already in court. "We are requesting the immediate cessation of the improper use of the name. Everything is in the hands of the courts," she concluded.
The current state of Wanda Cosmetics
Currently, Wanda Cosmetics keeps only its online sales channel, after having closed several physical stores in the City of Buenos Aires. Despite the legal dispute, the brand remains active on social media and with digital sales.
