Why Mauro Icardi's lawyers resigned: the details behind the scandal

Mauro Icardi was left without legal defense after the resignation of his three lawyers, Elba Marcovecchio, Lara Piro and Guadalupe Guerrero. The decision was made after the confusing police incident that occurred at the Chateau Libertador, where the footballer was involved in a conflict during the reunion with his daughters, Francesca and Isabella.

Lara Piro, one of the lawyers who stepped aside, expressed her distress after the decision. During a communication this Saturday on "Ángel responde" (Bondi Live), the attorney revealed to Santiago Riva Roy that she was "very hurt." She was present at the moment when the girls reunited with their father, but the situation became complicated when Icardi refused to take the children's pets.

The conflict that triggered the resignation

After 60 days without seeing his daughters, Mauro Icardi managed to reunite with them thanks to a judicial resolution. However, the Galatasaray footballer's refusal to take care of the children's pets led to an altercation that ended with the intervention of the police and SAME personnel.

Journalist Ángel de Brito was the one who confirmed the news through his X account (formerly Twitter). According to his report, the lawyers submitted their resignation due to "irreconcilable differences," with the police scandal as the "trigger."

Despite the situation, Icardi has already taken steps for his defense and is in the process of contacting new lawyers. So far, it hasn't been confirmed who will assume his legal representation in the conflict with Wanda Nara.
