Yamaha Argentina confirmed that it will begin manufacturing the Yamaha Crypton at its General Rodríguez plant before the end of the year. The model will enter the segment of urban motorcycles with the highest volume in the country, currently led by the Honda Wave.
The announcement was made during a press conference led by the company's president, Diego Cammisa. Details were also provided about local production, savings plans, and the state of the motorcycle market in Argentina.

According to Yamaha Argentina, the production of the Yamaha Crypton will start between November and December at the General Rodríguez plant in Buenos Aires province.
Diego Cammisa explained that the project took five years of work. He also indicated that the model is already sold in other markets but had to be adapted to the regulations in force in Argentina.
The company will start with a level of integration of national parts between 5% and 7%. The price and technical specifications will be announced at the time of the official launch.
