YPF Digital has introduced a new feature in its App YPF that allows users to pay in US dollars (USD) for their fuel purchases, products at FULL stores, and services at YPF Boxes throughout the entire network of stations in the country.
The measure, supported by Banco Santander, marks another step in the company's technological transformation and offers greater flexibility and transparency to customers.
Innovation at the service of the user
The new method is integrated into the Dinero en Cuenta (DeC) offering, YPF's digital financial ecosystem, which now adds the possibility of conducting transactions in US dollars within the app.
"Payment in US dollars provides our customers with greater flexibility and transparency when choosing how to manage their purchases. We have incorporated a secure, agile solution backed by Banco Santander, which adapts to the needs of each user and reinforces our commitment to continuously innovate in the digital experience of YPF customers," said Guillermo Garat, president of YPF Digital (YDI).
How the system works
To use this option, users must have Dinero en Cuenta (DeC) enabled and hold a US dollar bank account (CBU) in their name. From there, they can transfer funds to the USD checking account of YPF Digital at Banco Santander.
