YPF Digital partners with Google Cloud to transform its app with AI
The agreement will allow the development of solutions such as virtual assistants (bots) to serve customers
YPF Digital (YDI) signed a strategic agreement with Google Cloud to boost the development of the YPF App, the energy company's digital wallet, and advance its digital transformation process. The alliance aims to improve customer service, strengthen security, and enhance user experience through cloud technologies, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
"Since its launch in 2019, the YPF App has established itself as the most visible tool of our digitalization strategy", stated Guillermo Garat, president of YPF Digital. "This alliance enhances that vision with a focus on user experience, operational efficiency, and a culture of continuous innovation."
A key step to accelerate digital transformation
The agreement will allow Google Cloud to provide the necessary infrastructure and tools to develop solutions such as virtual assistants (bots), advanced data analysis, and secure environments for digital operations. These innovations will be essential to optimize interaction with millions of users and modernize the app's services.

During the official presentation, in addition to Garat, Mauro Cercos, general manager of YPF Digital, and regional representatives of Google Cloud such as Eduardo López, president for Latin America, and Natalia Scaliter, general manager for Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, participated.
"We are confident that we can take their business objectives to new horizons, leveraging the power of the cloud to create more sustainable and customer-focused solutions", expressed Scaliter, highlighting the positive impact the project will have on digital mobility in Argentina.
A key tool for user engagement

The joint work will position the YPF App as the main digital channel for engaging with the company's customers. Additionally, it reinforces the role of YPF Digital as a vehicle for integrating technological assets and generating new ecosystems centered on people and their mobility needs.
The initiative is part of YPF's digital evolution process, which seeks to accelerate the "time to market" of its solutions and offer a modern, efficient, and personalized experience through state-of-the-art digital tools.
