Zero Company: the new Star Wars game with original story and tactics
One of the most outstanding aspects of Zero Company will be the level of customization available
The universe of Star Wars is one of the most expansive and complex in pop culture. Over the decades, the top-tier saga has successfully adapted to different media, from animation to comics and, of course, video games.
Now, a new proposal seeks to expand the legacy with a different approach: Star Wars: Zero Company, a tactical strategy game set during the Clone Wars.
A new approach for the franchise
Developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment, the new title was officially presented during the Star Wars Celebration held in Japan. The announcement was accompanied by a first trailer that hinted at the tone and style of the game, which aims to combine tactical action with deep narrative and total customization.

What is known so far:
- The game will put us in the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer turned leader of a special unit.
- His squad will consist of a Clonetrooper, a Jedi, and a Mandalorian, all original characters created especially for this story.
- The player's decisions will influence the development of events and the fate of the galaxy.
Customization and strategy in the spotlight
One of the most notable aspects of Zero Company will be the level of customization available. Not only will the squads be able to be assembled and adjusted to each player's style, but the protagonist Hawks will also be highly modifiable:
- His gender, top-tier species, and voice can be chosen.
- Although some personality traits will be defined by the game, the intention is to allow a deeper connection with the character.

Additionally, players will be able to manage a base of operations, from where they will plan their movements throughout the galaxy. The mission system will include turn-based combat with a strong tactical component, although accessibility for new users will be sought.
Release and platforms
While there is no concrete release date yet, Electronic Arts confirmed that Star Wars: Zero Company will arrive sometime in 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, aiming to offer a next-generation experience both visually and in gameplay.
