Police and Armed Forces carry out strategic operations in Guayas, Los Ríos, El Oro and Santo Domingo, consolidating citizen security during the state of emergency

On the fourth day of the night curfew, decreed by the government of Daniel Noboa in Guayas, Los Ríos, El Oro and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, 80 arrests were recorded between the night of 18 and the early morning of March 19.
The Armed Forces deployed strategic raids and controls in priority sectors, including key roads in Guayaquil such as Casuarina Avenue and the National Unity Bridge Complex, ensuring compliance with the mobility restriction from 23:00 to 05:00am.

In the Durán canton and the province of Los Ríos, people linked to criminal structures were captured, with aerial monitoring and the constant presence of patrolmen, demonstrating effective coordination between Police and
Armed Forces.
The operations also included controls in the Naranjito and Marcelino Mariduña cantons, as well as in Quevedo, where two groups of six and seven people were captured respectively, linked to irregular activities.
Since the start of the curfew on March 15, law enforcement agencies have searched more than 1,200 people and 500 vehicles, confiscated weapons and arrested individuals of relevant criminal interest, consolidating the preventive action of the Noboa government.
With 75,000 police and military personnel, backed by patrols, armored vans and helicopters, the State reinforces control in critical areas, showing a firm hand against organized crime and prioritizing the safety of citizens during the state of emergency.
