In the Durán canton and the province of Los Ríos, people linked to criminal structures were captured, with aerial monitoring and the constant presence of patrolmen, demonstrating effective coordination between Police and

Armed Forces.

The operations also included controls in the Naranjito and Marcelino Mariduña cantons, as well as in Quevedo, where two groups of six and seven people were captured respectively, linked to irregular activities.

Since the start of the curfew on March 15, law enforcement agencies have searched more than 1,200 people and 500 vehicles, confiscated weapons and arrested individuals of relevant criminal interest, consolidating the preventive action of the Noboa government.

With 75,000 police and military personnel, backed by patrols, armored vans and helicopters, the State reinforces control in critical areas, showing a firm hand against organized crime and prioritizing the safety of citizens during the state of emergency.
