The political movement joins the current president's candidacy in active support
The Patriotic Society Party (PSP), led by Gilmar Gutiérrez, has announced its support for President and candidate Daniel Noboa ahead of the second electoral round on April 13. The decision, according to Gutiérrez, is based on the need to continue with a government that prioritizes the country's stability and development.
"We are giving active support, which is what was decided in our political organization," Gutiérrez stated in an interview. He explained that the support includes mobilizing supporters and promoting Noboa's candidacy among the citizens. This announcement strengthens the coalition of political forces seeking to avoid a return to the Correa model, represented by Luisa González.
The PSP, founded by former President Lucio Gutiérrez, presented Andrea González as a presidential candidate in these elections, although she did not advance to the second round.

Now, the party has chosen to join forces with Noboa, highlighting the importance of consolidating a government that maintains order and avoids policies that generate economic instability.
The adhesion of this political group represents a key boost for Noboa, who faces a decisive second round against the candidate of the Citizen Revolution. The electoral contest continues to polarize the country, with political sectors rejecting the return of Correa's policies and betting on a center-right option that guarantees security and growth.
With this new support, the president-candidate strengthens his position in the electoral landscape, adding strategic allies that reinforce his message of renewal and stability.
