The key stances in the presidential debate between Noboa and González
The presidential debate will address education, security, economy, and governance
Candidates Daniel Noboa and Luisa González will debate on March 23 on national broadcast.
The National Electoral Council (CNE) defined the order of intervention of the candidates in the second mandatory presidential debate. It will take place next Sunday, March 23 and will be broadcast on national television at 8:00 PM.
The five thematic axes to be discussed are education, health and social security, crime and security, economy and employment, and governance. According to the CNE draw, Luisa González will intervene first in education, crime, and governance, while Daniel Noboa will do so in health and economy.

This meeting will be key for citizens to analyze the proposals of both candidates, who seek to convince the electorate ahead of the second electoral round. Noboa, the current president, will defend his administration and propose solutions to the country's challenges, meanwhile González will present her vision from the Citizen Revolution line.
The presidential debate will allow contrasting proposals on sensitive issues such as security, where Ecuador faces an unprecedented violence crisis. In the economy, the challenge will be to address concerns about employment and financial stability.
With a divided electorate, this debate will play an essential role in the final decision of the voters next month.
