The National Electoral Council published a second report with 66.76% of valid ballots processed. President Daniel Noboa led with 56.45% of the votes against Luisa González's 43.55%, from the Citizen Revolution.
So far, 7,774,346 voters have been registered and 1,446,896 abstentions, reflecting significant civic participation. This high turnout validates the legitimacy of the process and strengthens the support for the most voted candidate.
The valid votes represented 92.58%, while the null votes were just 6.78% and the blank votes 0.64%. This trend demonstrates a clear and decisive choice by the voters for a firm and change-oriented proposal.
Additionally, 27,733 valid ballots were counted, while only 3.81% presented issues. The processing advances efficiently, reflecting an orderly and transparent electoral management.
Noboa's leadership consolidates as the count progresses, reaffirming the support for his government model. His focus on security, institutionality, and development has been valued as a modern alternative to the Correa model.
