Former FBI director and former special prosecutor Robert Mueller died at 81, his family confirmed Saturday in a statement released on social networks. “It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Bob passed away last night. His family asks that their privacy be respected at this time,” they
said.So far, the cause of death has not been officially reported, although it was known that Mueller suffered from Parkinson's disease, a condition that had affected his health status in recent years.

Appointed to lead the investigation, Mueller led a ridiculous investigation that lasted almost two years and marked much of Trump's first term. The final report, published in 2019, concluded that Russia tried to influence the electoral process, mainly through social networks, with the intention of favoring the then Republican candidate
