A 32-year-old young executive from Bank of America who served as Vice President of Business Selection and Conflicts was fatally attacked by a deranged killer in broad daylight on Monday in Times Square.
The killer was identified as Pamela Cisneros, 49, and was shot dead by officers from the New York Police Department. Videos uploaded to social media show the moment police shot Cisneros, who was wielding a knife.
Eric Piacenti sustained a stab wound to the abdomen in an "unprovoked attack", reported New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch during a press conference this morning. Cisneros used two kitchen knives to carry out the attack and also stabbed a 68-year-old man in the stomach, who fortunately survived.
Piacenti was originally from the city of Chester in New Jersey and was fatally stabbed near the Crossroads of the World. According to her LinkedIn profile, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and from Fordham Law School in 2021. According to posts on her social media, this successful professional had just celebrated her second wedding anniversary on August 10.
