The lawyer for the father of the three children murdered by Lindsay Clancy stated that "enough is enough" and that his client is considering taking legal action against the feminists who defend his ex-wife.
Lindsay Clancy confessed to killing her three children in January 2023, but her argument that postpartum depression overwhelmed her won her a legion of feminists who idolize her and even accuse Patrick Clancy, Lindsay's ex-husband, of being the true murderer of the three children.
For this reason, Howard Cooper, Patrick's lawyer, warned all conspiracy theorists on Tuesday that his client is fed up with them tarnishing his reputation. "In recent months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been the subject of an unrelenting, growing, and destructive defamation campaign," the statement released by the lawyer began.
"This disinformation campaign has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, self-proclaimed influencers, and clear conspiracy theorists who seem to intend to boost their own profiles on social media and their potential financial gains by publishing what they know to be outright lies: that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims," the text adds.
Patrick Clancy, for the memory of his children, said enough.
"This campaign, now fueled by insatiable media coverage, remains in full swing and has led to real threats against his reputation, his livelihood, and his own life", the statement continues.
"Enough already: this dissemination of flagrant and unfounded falsehoods must end. Those responsible must understand that there will be consequences, and all appropriate measures will be taken to hold them accountable, including through legal means", concludes the document, which confirms that authorities have already been alerted about this issue.
Far from condemning the harassment Patrick is suffering, the accused's lawyer, Kevin Reddington, has praised the feminists who engage in this type of activism. "You know, regarding people on the internet, I don't dismiss them at all. It's incredible what people on TikTok and Instagram... it's amazing how they manage to uncover facts and conduct investigations," he stated.
