The president Donald Trump appeared to confirm on Sunday night that federal immigration authorities are actively investigating far-left Democratic Representative from Minnesota, Ilhan Omar, for immigration fraud.
The president shared an explosive report from Just the News revealing that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) refused to disclose the status of the investigation against the pro-Hamas Muslim congresswoman as revealing these records could interfere with "law enforcement proceedings."
Omar is accused of entering into a fraudulent marriage with Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who is allegedly her biological brother, to help him remain in the United States. Authorities are known to be investigating this matter, but they claim that any disclosure to the media could disrupt the process.
"The disclosure of any responsive records at this time could reasonably be expected to interfere with law enforcement proceedings", ICE wrote to the press in January. Trump's post last night is the clearest official indication to date that the congresswoman is being subjected to an immigration review.
