The Government of Donald Trump clarified on Monday the main points of the agreement reached with Iran, following the dissemination of false versions about its content.
In this context, the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, emphasized that the understanding guarantees that the Iranian terrorist regime will never have nuclear weapons in its possession.
During an interview on the "CBS Mornings" program, Vance denied that the pact includes the release of millions in funds for the Iranians. "When it is said that billions of dollars in assets will be released, that is not true," he stated.

In the same vein, he stressed that any economic improvement for Iran will be strictly conditioned on compliance with its commitments: "What is true is that Iran will have a much better and more prosperous future if it fulfills the obligations undertaken in this agreement."
The official also questioned the figures released by Iranian sources regarding a supposed unlocking of 24 billion dollars. He explained that this number "simply does not appear in any of the texts we have analyzed with the Iranians."
He added: "What we have said is that we are willing to talk about the unfreezing of assets, but a much more important issue is the lifting of sanctions on their economy, as long as they comply with long-term commitments in the nuclear program."
Beyond the economic discussion, the Vice President emphasized the structural aspect of the agreement, which revolves around controlling Iran's nuclear development.
He explained that the pact "guarantees that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, while opening the Strait of Hormuz." This definition positions the understanding as a key instrument for international stability and global security.

Furthermore, he detailed that the agreement establishes concrete mechanisms for supervision and control. "Look, if they are willing to meet their obligations, if they are willing to allow real inspections of their nuclear program, then we will welcome them back to the global economy," he explained, outlining the logic of incentives in the pact.
Regarding implementation, Vance confirmed that discussions are already underway about the elimination of sensitive nuclear material. "Without a doubt, we are talking to the Iranians about how we are going to destroy that stockpile of enriched uranium. The technical details are one of the topics we will address when we start technical talks on Friday," he noted.
The Vice President also indicated that the United States will work alongside the UN nuclear oversight body to ensure compliance.
"Whether we play a role as observers or a more active one, these are issues that will be defined in technical discussions," he stated, concluding: "what the president has made very clear is that the United States will be present to confirm that this stockpile of enriched material is destroyed."
Finally, Vance anticipated that the full text of the agreement will be published in the coming days, with the aim of making its content transparent: "We want the American people to see it"
