The Israel Defense Forces announced that it has resumed the enforcement of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, following a series of attacks on terrorist targets in response to multiple violations committed by Hamas.
According to an official statement, "in accordance with the directives of the political leadership, and after a series of attacks in which dozens of targets and terrorists were hit, IDF has begun the renewal of the enforcement of the ceasefire in response to Hamas's violations."
During the operation, the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet intelligence service neutralized more than 30 Hamas members who held "command positions". Israeli forces emphasized that they will continue monitoring and responding to any new breach of the agreement.
An Israeli official cited in local media indicated that the attacks carried out at various points in Gaza were "almost complete".

"We struck dozens of targets and carried out multiple targeted eliminations of Hamas terrorists. This was our decision: we hit every target on the list," he stated, adding that Israel is preparing new measures in response to the ongoing provocations by the Islamist group.
Following the army's announcement, Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that the recent operations were a direct response to Hamas's violations, particularly the attack on Israeli soldiers and the failure to hand over the remains of all murdered hostages.
"There will be no immunity for any member of Hamas's terrorist leadership—neither for those who wear suits nor for those who hide in tunnels. Whoever raises their hand against an IDF soldier, that hand will be cut off," Katz declared.
On Tuesday, Sergeant First Class (reservist) Yona Efraim "Efi" Feldbaum fell in combat in the Gaza Strip by fire from a Hamas sniper. On the same day, the army intensified its attacks after receiving fire in the southern area of the enclave, according to Palestinian reports.
Meanwhile, Hamas terrorists attempted to access a hidden weapons depot inside a mosque in an area controlled by the IDF, according to Israeli military radio.
The group was detected by a drone after crossing the "Yellow Line", the security perimeter to which the army had withdrawn after the ceasefire negotiated by the United States.
The terrorists were stopped before reaching the building, located less than one kilometer (0.62 miles) from the border fence opposite Kibbutz Nahal Oz.
The resumption of the enforcement of the ceasefire by Israel comes in a context of growing frustration with Hamas, accused not only of failing to comply with the terms of the agreement but also of using the truce to reorganize militarily and attack Israeli forces again.
