Drug injections in the Metro: Sheinbaum downplays a crisis that overwhelms CDMX

Two women tested positive for drugs and the government still doesn't act

The SSC confirmed that two victims of needle attacks in the Metro tested positive for drugs. The cases occurred on lines 3 and 7, revealing a pattern of attacks that the authorities had tried to downplay.

Investigations point to the possible use of drugs to subdue women. Despite the seriousness, the government still fails to implement effective protection protocols in public transportation. Ambiguous statements and the lack of measures only confirm the institutional disregard for user safety.

Metro under attack and without effective authority

The official confirmation from the SSC confirms what collectives and users had been denouncing: the attacks exist and are systematic. Meanwhile, Claudia Sheinbaum inaugurates pink carriages and delivers empty speeches, crime advances in public transportation with total impunity.

Every day that passes without real measures, the Metro becomes a lawless territory. Insecurity is no longer an exception: it's the rule. Authorities prefer to spend on propaganda rather than reinforce security or purge corrupt elements.

The governmental response is slow, bureaucratic, and without real impact. Instead of facing the problem, the 4T prefers to manipulate figures and deny the crisis, increasing the social discontent that grows day by day.

Violence becomes normalized in the City of "Well-being"

The confirmation of drug use in needle attacks is not just a public safety issue: it's a moral defeat of the State against everyday crime. The CDMX, once presented as an example of modernity, today sinks into a crisis of normalized violence denied by those in power.

Public transportation should be a safe space. Today, under Sheinbaum's management, it's a daily trap. While the government downplays the facts, victims continue to travel in fear.

Each new attack confirms that, in Mexico City's "well-being", security is a broken promise. Official indifference not only exacerbates violence: it normalizes it.
