PAN announced a criminal complaint against Andrea Chávez for corruption
The state leadership of Chihuahua accuses the Morena senator of early campaign activities and conflict of interest
The president of the State Committee of the PAN in Chihuahua, Daniela Álvarez, reported that the complaint is based on the management of a health caravan operating in Ciudad Juárez. Which has been used to promote the image of Senator Andrea Chávez.
Álvarez pointed out that this action could constitute a possible conflict of interest and a violation of electoral norms by carrying out premature campaign acts.
She reported that the complaints will be formally presented to the Attorney General's Office and the National Electoral Institute in the coming days.

An evident inconsistency
The leader of the PAN criticized the inconsistency of the Morena legislator. She stated that it was precisely she who voted against a national budget increase in health matters.
This fact contrasts with one of the latest statements by former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. In his last government report, he declared that Mexico had the best health system in the world, even comparing it to Denmark's.
If this were true, the medical units for the self-promotion of the Morena senator simply wouldn't have a reason to exist, social media users accuse.

Chávez defends herself
On social media, the Morena senator has accused the opposition and various media outlets of orchestrating a disinformation campaign against her.
Chávez specifically blamed the government of Chihuahua, led by the PAN member María Eugenia Campos Galván.
She mentioned that her goal was to bring health to the people of Chihuahua. However, she never mentioned anything about the cost of operating the four units she claims to have. Which, moreover, were provided by the private sector, according to the words of the Morena senator.

Context and political repercussions
This confrontation occurs in a tense political climate in Chihuahua, a state that will have elections to renew its governorship in 2027. Elections in which it is said that Senator Chávez would be interested in participating.
The criminal complaint announced by the PAN could have significant implications for Andrea Chávez's political career and the public perception of Morena in Chihuahua.
The public opinion and political actors will be alert to the development of this legal process and the responses of the corresponding authorities.
