Eduardo Verástegui called for calm to consolidate the MVM: Assemblies will be held in September
Verástegui stated that the process is progressing according to the established timeline and that the assemblies will begin in September
Eduardo Verástegui, leader of the Movimiento Viva México (MVM), has called for calm among his supporters amid growing concerns about the progress in the formation of his organization as a national political party.
Through his social media accounts, Verástegui assured that the process is advancing according to the established timeline. He also stated that the state assemblies required by the Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) are scheduled for September of this year.

Verástegui stated that the statutes and founding documents are being refined by a team of jurists and specialists in electoral law.
"For the commentators, critics, complainers, and gossips who have nothing to do and think they know everything, I clarify the following: They are being refined with a team of jurists and specialists in electoral law."
he wrote on his X account.
Jóvenes Valientes and internal pressure for greater speed
Within the movement itself, the youth branch known as Jóvenes Valientes has expressed its concern about the apparent slowness of the process.
Some members have compared the progress of MVM with that of other organizations seeking to become political parties, such as Somos México. For that reason, they have urged the leadership to accelerate efforts to meet INE requirements.

Despite these internal pressures, Verástegui has reiterated that the process is being carried out meticulously and in accordance with the law.
"That will allow more than 15,000 patriotic Mexicans with a vocation for service to compete through a political party that truly represents them."
he stated in another message on X.
A movement seeking to represent the Mexican right
The Movimiento Viva México presents itself as a political alternative that defends traditional values, life, family, and essential freedoms.
Since its announcement of intent to become a political party, it has sought to fill the void that, according to its leaders, exists in the representation of the right in Mexico. With an eye on the 2027 midterm elections, MVM aims to establish itself as a viable option for conservative voters.

The INE validated in February MVM's request to begin the process of formation as a political party. Now MVM faces the task of holding assemblies in at least 20 states or 200 electoral districts and enrolling a minimum number of supporters.
With the assemblies scheduled for September, MVM faces the challenge of mobilizing its base and meeting the requirements established by the INE. Meanwhile, Verástegui continues to promote his vision of a Mexico based on libertarian principles and calls on his followers to remain steadfast in building this new political force.
