The water shortage in the State of Mexico persists, and the government doesn'thing.

The State of Mexico faces an unprecedented water crisis. The dams are at a minimum, leaving municipalities without water.

The water ran out and the government only gives excuses

The State of Mexico  remains mired in an unprecedented water crisis, with dams at 30% capacity and constant cuts in key municipalities.

Despite experts' warnings, the government hasn't taken effective measures to ensure supply, leaving millions of inhabitants without access to drinking water.

Instead of investing in water infrastructure, the authorities  have preferred to allocate resources to political projects and patronage programs.

The water crisis hit millions of families

Inhabitants of municipalities like Ecatepec, Nezahualcóyotl, Naucalpan, and Tlalnepantla have reported constant water cuts and lack of supply by the state government.

Water distribution companies in tankers have seen an increase in demand, but the cost of the service has skyrocketed, further affecting low-income families.

Meanwhile, the agricultural sector has recorded million-dollar losses due to the lack of water for irrigation, putting food production in the state at risk.

An absent government while the crisis worsens

Despite the seriousness of the situation, state authorities have offered vague responses and insufficient solutions.

Instead of investing in the modernization of the distribution system, the government has limited itself to calling for "citizen awareness", blaming the population for the misuse of water.

Indiscriminate logging, lack of maintenance in catchment systems, and overexploitation of aquifers have been ignored by the authorities.

Clearly they still don't take responsibility for the crisis.

The State of Mexico ran out of water and solutions

While the water crisis continues to worsen, the government remains inactive, allowing the problem to become irreversible.

Inhabitants of the State of Mexico face an unprecedented shortage, while the political class  continues diverting resources to projects with no real impact on the population.

Water has become a top-level for millions of Mexiquenses.

The government continues to demonstrate that it is incapable of resolving one of the most serious crises the country has faced in recent years.
