Feminist Andrea Tuana is involved in several controversies and public accusations due to a series of irregularities in various areas.
There is an administrative investigation by the Ministry of the Interior for critical television statements regarding policies of the previous government. The initial sanction was a suspension without pay, which was later reduced.

The feminist publicly lied live on air, claiming that in Uruguay there are drug users who leave their children as hostages in drug dealing spots. It was all false.
Tuana is an official of that ministry. She works at the Police Hospital and was handpicked for the rank of Sub-Commissioner.
Moisés Case
Tuana is a representative of the feminist NGO El Paso, which is funded with public money from agreements between the NGO and state agencies.
El Paso assists women who are supposed victims of "gender violence." What the NGO actually does is promote false accusations against innocent men for alleged "gender violence," thus continuing the macabre business of accusing innocent men, while the NGO continues to receive public funds in return.
The extremist has been one of the visible faces defending the murderer Moisés Martínez, who cold-bloodedly shot his own father 14 times in the back. It is curious that Tuana considers a simple street compliment to a woman as "gender violence," while at the same time defending a cruel murderer.
Tuana Investigated
At the end of April, the YouTube program Todo Se Sabe revealed an audio recording of a woman's statement in court. In it, a woman testified before prosecutor Darviña Viera that Andrea Tuana had convinced her to lie to the prosecutor's office, claiming that this woman's husband "touched the intimate parts" of her minor daughter. This was in the context of Operation Ocean.
As a result of that program, Judge Huberto Álvarez notified the Prosecutor's Office to investigate the audio.
Allegations that Tuana promotes false accusations for "gender violence" against innocent men have been around for many years.
But now there is an ongoing criminal investigation.
