Alleged child abuse case shakes family and causes shock in society
A horrendous and shocking case involving the most vulnerable in society
In recent hours, a case involving alleged repeated sexual abuse of a 4-year-old boy has come to light, capturing public attention following complaints filed by his mother, who claims the child was victimized by his grandfather and father.
This delicate matter has caused deep concern over the apparent lack of action by judicial institutions and the protection of the child, who has been separated from his mother for four months.
The reported events
According to information shared by Nadia, the child was born into an environment marked by domestic violence conflicts.

It is presumed that, after his parents' separation, the child began visiting his father at the age of 3, also living with his paternal grandfather and grandmother.
It was in this context that, according to the mother, the first signs of abuse emerged, as the child reportedly told her.
In February 2024, a medical report from Médica Uruguaya recorded that the child was admitted to the emergency room with spontaneous accounts of alleged sexual acts perpetrated by his grandfather, supported by gestures the child reportedly imitated and were recorded by Nadia.
After studies by the medical team, it was confirmed that the child had been subjected to presumptive child sexual abuse, presenting physical and emotional symptoms of it.
The mother proceeded to file a complaint.
Subsequently, in April 2024, Nadia reportedly expanded the complaint following new accounts from the child, who described aberrant behaviors attributed to both the grandfather and the father.
The child reportedly commented on this during the psychological assessment being conducted at his healthcare provider.
Medical and psychological reports presented by the mother suggest that the child exhibited sexualized behaviors, anal dilation, injuries in that area, and symptoms consistent with child abuse.
The "Hasta El Hueso Podcast" Complaint
Faced with the system's lack of response, the mother decided to turn to the "Hasta El Hueso Podcast," known for addressing sensitive topics, which dedicated a report exposing the case based on Nadia's accounts and the various evidence provided to the Justice, except, of course, for the audiovisual material where the child recounts and imitates the sexual poses that are part of the "making babies" game he reportedly played with his paternal grandfather.
The alleged irregularities in the judicial process and the lack of effective response from the justice system were highlighted.

This journalistic work has amplified public concern, highlighting the seriousness of the accusations and questioning the role of the institutions responsible for protecting the child.
The judicial response under scrutiny
The case reportedly took a controversial turn when the 6th Turn Sexual Offenses Criminal Prosecutor's Office decided to archive the investigation, allegedly arguing that the collected evidence would not be sufficient to support the reported facts.
According to Nadia, statements from the accused or herself were not taken, the audiovisual and testimonial evidence presented was not considered or even processed, nor was all the compelling documentation provided.
No Gesell Chamber was conducted, no statements were taken from the parties either at the Prosecutor's Office or in the Criminal Court, medical reports were not considered, nor were the confirmed anal injuries, the child was not heard, experts in the field did not intervene, and in just one week, the case was archived.
The only thing done in this investigation was a psychiatric report from the Forensic Technical Institute, based on a mere 15-minute interview with the child, which reportedly suggested that the child's sexualized behaviors could be part of normal psychosexual development for his age.
Despite being 4 years old, an interpretation that has been widely debated and criticized by those following the case, including the "Hasta El Hueso Podcast" team.
This drew significant attention from the defense, given that this type of sexual offense (where evidence must be collected and processed with a high degree of precision and exhaustively) involves a long and emphatic investigation, which clearly could not be done in just one week, disregarding all the evidence provided and proposed.
Being only the report conducted in just 15 minutes by the ITF, riddled with inconsistencies and where they didn't even ask the child about the abuses, the evidence that the Prosecutor's Office took to then archive the case.
The report suggested
that the child's sexual behaviors are normal in the psychosexual development of a child of just 4 years old.
Nadia's attempts to reopen the case through a surrogate prosecutor were reportedly dismissed in just three days, reinforcing suspicions of a possible lack of institutional diligence, a point the defense finds alarming.
Generally, the analysis of the case by a surrogate prosecutor is something that takes a long time, as they must study the case from scratch.
Separation of the child
On November 15, 2024, following a new episode of alleged abuse reported by Nadia and confirmed in medical emergency with physical signs that could indicate penetration, the child was reportedly removed from his mother's care.
According to her version, the child was handed over to his maternal grandmother after a judicial hearing she was not properly notified of due to an error in the citation address. Since then, the Specialized Family Court, being in session on November 18, granted the grandmother provisional custody of the child, with precautionary measures preventing Nadia from approaching him, who is currently without information about the child's current state.
Implications and reactions
The "Hasta El Hueso Podcast" complaint has focused on the possible violation of the child's rights and the questioned actions of the institutions.
Nadia claims that the maternal grandmother allowed the child to have contact with the alleged aggressors, who have precautionary measures regarding the child, something that would be inferred from messages she claims to have intercepted and presented.
In that conversation, the maternal grandmother reportedly told the child's father what to do and say, while expressing that she was waiting for any episode where Nadia "went crazy" to call 911 and have her committed.
She also tells the father
"then do whatever you want, if you want to have the child yourself."
The authorities, meanwhile, have not issued public statements confirming or denying these allegations.
An uncertain future
As of March 31, 2025, Nadia continues to seek answers and raise awareness of the case, supported by the dissemination of the "Hasta El Hueso Podcast" program.
A new complaint was reportedly filed on March 27 at the Gender Violence Police Station number 3, although no progress is yet known.
The seriousness of the accusations, coupled with the alleged irregularities in the judicial process, keeps this case at the center of attention, with growing concern about the child's protection and the role of the institutions.
The file is still being processed in the Specialized Family Court, while future proceedings are expected to shed light on the facts.
Reports were requested
from Médica Uruguaya, INAU, and documents were provided. The defense has requested that a hearing be convened as soon as possible.
