SUNCA keeps washing its hands
When a job comes to light, a colleague is sacrificed
With overwhelming hypocrisy, the SUNCA National Executive Committee recently published a statement—although dated May 16—where it accuses one of its members of having damaged the "prestige" that the union doesn't even possess.
For these organizations (sheltered under the corrupt wing of PIT-CNT), murkiness has become commonplace.
Their famous "money maneuvers" are not new; it is enough to recall the recent irregularities detected and the seven union members, linked to the Communist Party of Uruguay, who were expelled for receiving irregular funds.
Communist Party would be financed with irregular money from SUNCA
All for the cause, Miguel
To clean up SUNCA's image, this time the former Secretary of Safety and Hygiene and activist for more than 30 years, Miguel Duarte, sacrificed himself, as he was publicly accused of being a thief.
Through a poorly written statement, they tried to preserve the nonexistent "prestige" of the organization by expelling him:
"The reason for the expulsion is linked to maneuvers with funds belonging to a social fund for construction workers, and the responsibilities and roles of those expelled seriously undermined and affected the prestige and principles of our union SUNCA."
In a desperate attempt to distance itself from its corrupt shadow, the union continues to sacrifice "comrades" and show that they are rotten with corruption.
