The National Ministry of Health, led by Dr. Mario Lugones, has updated the 2025 National Vaccination Schedule. The plan includes doses for all stages of life, from newborns to older adults. Vaccines are administered free of charge at public hospitals and health centers, with no medical order required.
The official goal is to maintain the achievements made in the control of preventable diseases. It also aims to guarantee health coverage and equal access to public health. Health authorities emphasized that following the schedule protects not only each individual but society as a whole.
Citizens can consult the complete schedule at argentina.gob.ar/salud/vacunas or in the Mi Argentina app. In addition, it is recommended to bring an up-to-date vaccination card when visiting the vaccination center.

Vaccines by stage: from childhood to adulthood
During pregnancy, doses are administered against influenza, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and the acellular triple bacterial vaccine. These vaccines protect both the mother and the baby during the first months of life. In newborns, BCG and hepatitis B are administered before hospital discharge.
During the first year, vaccines against polio, pneumococcus, rotavirus, hepatitis A, and MMR are included. In early childhood, the whole-cell triple bacterial, meningococcus, and varicella vaccines are added, completing boosters up to five years old.
