The 15% cut in the compensation of Córdoba's legislators remains in place

According to what was reported in recent hours, the 15% cut in the allowances of provincial legislators from Córdoba will be maintained.

Furthermore, in a measure ordered by Vice Governor Myrian Prunotto, a 10% deduction for officials of the Legislature is being maintained.

This is a measure that is in line with the resolution signed last week by Córdoba Governor Martín Llaryora, who extended the salary cuts for the political leadership of the Executive Branch until December 31, 2026.

Llaryora had announced the reduction of political salaries in his first speech opening ordinary sessions in the Unicameral on February 1, 2024, and he has now decided to extend it for a third consecutive year.

Back then, the vice governor had also made a similar decision in the legislative sphere, with a reduction that was maintained during these two years and that some legislators, quietly, had expected to be lifted, according to the newspaper La Voz.
