The criminal act was intended to steal the vehicle from a relative of the boy.The terrible incident took place on Wednesday at 5:20 p.m. in a house in the Los Fresnos neighborhood and caused deep outrage.

A camera recorded the robbery, where four criminals on two motorcycles can be seen approaching a man who was sitting on the stone wall of his house. A few meters away, the vehicle was parked and, without saying anything, they assaulted him. When the child heard the screams and commotion, he came out of the house and the assailants did not hesitate to point a gun at him.

A gang of underage criminals terrorizing the neighborhood

An aunt of the child stated that they are minors who are causing trouble in the area. In this regard, she said that almost all the motorcycle thieves causing trouble in the neighborhood are "a large gang of minors who operate day and night and create panic in the neighborhood."

"We couldn't defend ourselves because there were too many of them," she said about the violent incident. She also indicated that the only thing that mattered to her at that moment was preventing them from entering her house, where there were other minors.

She recounted on El Show del Lagarto that everything happened in 40 seconds but "it felt like hours." She also stated that it was "quite violent how they pointed the gun." "It was shocking, we're very afraid."

The modus operandi of this gang of juvenile criminals

Nadia, the aunt of the minor targeted by these criminals, explained the way this gang of juvenile criminals operates. She said that "what they do is steal a couple of motorcycles, leave their legal motorcycles hidden, and keep stealing with the ones they stole."

She also recounted that later, when her daughter left school and found out what had happened, she told them that she had seen the same criminals committing another robbery, this time using her relative's motorcycle, which had been previously stolen.

Meanwhile, Nadia stated:"they left my house with the stolen motorcycle and went to the school to steal." This shows that this gang of juvenile criminals has no boundaries whatsoever. Once again, the city suffers the consequences of the incompetence of a mayor to whom crime and insecurity seem to matter very little.
