Adidas once again appealed to nostalgia and presented in Argentina the retro collection Bringback, a special line developed for the federations it sponsors and designed to bring back iconic jerseys and garments from past World Cup editions.
This time, this launch is dedicated to the jersey that Albiceleste wore in Germany 2006, the first World Cup that Lionel Messi played with the senior national team. Under the Teamgeist concept, the brand reissued the jerseys that the team used in that tournament, both the home and the away versions, which now once again take center stage in this commemorative capsule.
The Bringback collection AFA 2006 also includes two jackets and one pair of pants, all manufactured in strict accordance with the original designs and the materials of that era. Among the most notable details is the national team crest as it was used that year, with only two stars, preserving the exact aesthetic of that World Cup.
