After Boca's defeat, Davoo Xeneize criticized Úbeda and a player: 'A disaster'

Boca lost 0-1 to Racing at La Bombonera and was eliminated in the semifinals of the 2025 Clausura Tournament. Another blow in a sportingly poor year that once again caused anger among the fans and sparked a debate about the team's performance and Claudio Úbeda's management. One of those who did not take long to speak out was Davoo Xeneize, a well-known streamer and supporter of the club from La Ribera, who harshly targeted three central points: Milton Giménez, the substitution of "Changuito" Zeballos, and the coach's tactical approach.

After the match, Davoo was categorical in evaluating the starting center forward: "It's unjustifiable for Milton Giménez to play so many minutes wearing Boca's jersey. There is no football justification whatsoever," he stated. "I can't believe how poorly Milton Giménez played today," he added.

The analysis was not limited to a bad night: "He is the player, he is the one the ball bounces off, he is the one who can't control a ball, he is the one who is not well positioned, he is the one who misses every goal... He is the one who is not up to Boca's football standards," he said.

However, the focus of his criticism doesn't stop at the player. For Davoo, the main person responsible for keeping a player in poor form on the field is the one who decides to play him: Claudio Úbeda. "At that point, it becomes the coach's responsibility for letting him play so many minutes... At that point, it's Úbeda's fault. What do you want me to say?"

Meanwhile, for the streamer, the most incomprehensible moment of the night came in the second half, when the coach brought on Alan Velasco for Exequiel Zeballos: "I saw Paredes's reaction to Zeballos's substitution. We all saw the reaction of Boca's fans at La Bombonera... anyone watching the match... holds their head in disbelief," he lamented.

He then defended "Changuito"'s performance with arguments: "Zeballos was playing a good match. For me, he is the most unbalancing player Boca has and probably the best attacking player Boca has... how can it be that Zeballos comes off and Giménez, who did everything wrong, stays on the field?"

In that sense, he questioned the tactical logic of keeping a player who had no chances in the match: "He is useless as a reference in the box if you don't reach the box. He is absolutely useless."

Finally, Davoo believes that the defeat exposed a poor reading of the game: "Today, I honestly think Úbeda's tactical reading of the match, he did everything wrong in my opinion. He did everything wrong, I can't find anything positive."

Meanwhile, the streamer also referred to reports about the coach's continuity and made his position clear: "Today it came out that supposedly Úbeda was going to be renewed until 2026... I can't confirm it... but for me, he should not continue after today's defeat," he stated.

He concluded with a forceful message about the immediate future of the club from La Ribera: "Boca must start 2026... preseason with a new coach and a new technical project."
