Past midday this Friday, a fire broke out in the building whereNeura, the streaming channel founded by Alejandro Fantino, operates. The incident occurred on Cabrera Street, between Humboldt and Fitz Roy, in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
The emergency system received the alert at 12:30 p.m. Firefighters and police personnel arrived at the scene, where they set up an operation to control the flames and evacuate those present.
Urgent evacuation and collateral damage
At the time of the fire, several Neura employees were broadcasting live. According to sources from the operation, two employees sought refuge on the building's terrace, which has an open-air patio. There, they were assisted and evacuated by firefighters.
Additionally, the flames spread to neighboring residences, which forced the expansion of the security perimeter and the implementation of further evacuations.

Fantino spoke and confirmed the origin of the fire
Alejandro Fantino was on his way to the studio when he was notified of the fire. In a conversation with Ángel de Brito on the program En Bondi, he expressed relief upon confirming that his entire team was safe.
The host attributed the incident to a malfunction in an air conditioning unit. This version matched the initial observations of the firefighters, who found thick smoke coming from the ground floor of the building, which also has a first floor.
