Alfredo Casero celebrated the libertarian victory and targeted the absentees

La Libertad Avanza prevailed in CABA and Casero appeared in the bunker: 'It's a new possibility.'

La Libertad Avanza won the 2025 legislative elections in the city of Buenos Aires. With 98% of the polling stations counted, the ruling party prevailed in a historic stronghold of PRO.

In the midst of the celebration, Alfredo Casero appeared in the libertarian bunker and spoke to the media. The comedian expressed his support but also pointed out the low voter turnout.

"I'm sorry that so few people showed up"

During the coverage of the celebrations, Casero appeared elated but also critical. "I'm disenchanted that only 40% of the people went to vote", the actor stated to the media.

He went further: "It's very important that we give the necessary importance to these demonstrations. People sometimes stay home because they're lazy and don't care".

"We have a new opportunity"

Casero asserted that this result marks a political turning point. "We should realize that for the first time we have a new opportunity", he said.

He concluded with a sharp remark:  "I'm happy, but I'm sorry that so few people showed up. It really puts us in a different place; during Alberto's time, it was a disgrace".

How many people voted in the CABA legislative elections?

The electoral day on Sunday, May 18, broke records, but for a negative reason. Only 53.2% of the electorate voted, making it the election with the lowest turnout in the last three decades.

Until now, the lowest attendance had been in 2007, with 68.5%. This data raised alarms both in the ruling party and the opposition.
