With the 2025 season about to end, the Alpine team has decided to shift its focus to the immediate future. Through its official social media channels, the team confirmed when the A526, the car that Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will drive in 2026, will be unveiled.
According to the announcement, the French team's new single-seater will be revealed on January 23 at an event in Barcelona, Spain, where both drivers will be present along with the management board and the team's main partners. "Drivers Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, together with the team's senior management, will meet with partners and guests to embark together on the journey toward 2026," Alpine officially announced.

As soon as the presentation concludes, scheduled for 5:00 p.m. (Argentina time), a key phase will begin: private testing, which will take place from January 26 to 30 at the Circuit de Barcelona. That track will also once again host the Spanish Grand Prix in the 2026 season.
To see the brand-new A526 in open sessions, fans will have to wait until February, when the team will take part in the official preseason at the Bahrain International Circuit. Alpine will have two sessions: from the 11th to the 13th and then from the 19th to the 20th of that month, opportunities in which Colapinto and Gasly will add kilometers before the start of the new technical regulations.
With the date marked on the calendar, Alpine is beginning to outline its work for adapting to the new era of Formula 1, in which it hopes to leave behind a challenging 2025 and make a competitive leap in 2026.
