This Tuesday, July 1 began with extreme cold in AMBA. It is shaping up to be the coldest morning of the year: at 5 AM, the wind chill in Buenos Aires City was 1 degree below zero.
Meteorologist Matías Bertolotti mentioned that minimum temperatures in the suburbs reached between -2°C and -4°C, while a southwest breeze kept the wind chill at its lowest.

Today's weather in CABA and the suburbs
After a historic afternoon like yesterday, when the high barely reached 5.5°C (41.9°F), today the outlook improves slightly. A high of 10°C (50°F) is expected, with partly cloudy skies and a freezing morning that started with 4°C (39.2°F) at 8 AM.
The day will be cold but somewhat more bearable than Monday. The sun will help make the afternoon milder, although it won't break the winter trend.
