The Deputy Minister of National Health, Cecilia Loccisano,participated in the new edition of the health forum "AmCham Health Forum 2025", which, under the premise "Agenda for Sustainable and Innovative Health," seeks to contribute to local economic and institutional development.

The official from the Ministry of Health was part of the panel "Towards a Technical Consensus for Sustainable Financing."
In her remarks, she emphasized that the sustainability of the health system is one of the central pillars of the national health ministry.
"Our objective is clear: to achieve maximum efficiency in the allocation of public resources through strategy and innovation", she stated.

"At the AmCham Health Forum, I shared the Government's vision for a sustainable health system. The priority is to use every peso in a planned manner, with efficiency and innovation, so that it translates into better care for Argentinians," Loccisano later stated on social media.

"This way, we managed to change the logic of the vaccine procurement system, which for years wasted resources: in 2023 alone, 4 million doses worth 13.3 million dollars were destroyed," she reported.
"With smart planning and better contractual clauses, we obtained discounts, better registration levels, and optimized coverage. The most emblematic case is the flu vaccine: in 2025, we achieved an efficiency of 23 million dollars compared to previous campaigns," she added.

She then explained the country's progress in strengthening vaccination of pregnant women against Respiratory Syncytial Virus.
"Argentina is a pioneer in its inclusion in the National Immunization Schedule, and the results are clear, with 62% fewer hospitalizations and 70% fewer admissions to intensive care among babies under 6 months. This is efficiency that saves lives," she concluded.
