Andrea Rincón revealed the exorcism performed on her: 'She screamed with another voice'

The actress revealed that, in order to overcome her addictions, she underwent a powerful esoteric experience

Years after having faced a tough battle against addiction, Andrea Rincón surprised everyone with a story about an episode that, she claims, marked a turning point in her life.

The actress confessed that she was subjected to an exorcism, an experience that—according to her account—was linked to her approach to faith.

In a conversation with Majo Riera and Pata Liberati on the podcast Dos pendejas de 50 (Summary), Rincón recalled that at that time she was going through a period of emotional and physical instability.

"I wasn't sleeping, I was exhausted. During the filming of the first season of Argentina, tierra de amor y venganza, it showed on my face, I had deep dark circles and a constant discomfort. I dreamed of skulls suffocating me and strange situations, like finding my brother's motorcycle covered in ants," she described.

The actress recounted that she came to feel trapped in a never-ending cycle. "They sent me to see some witches and I thought: 'If I listen to them, who do I owe something to?' I felt like it was a wheel that never ended," she recalled.

The change came thanks to a friend from her past, with whom she used to go out partying and who now attended a church. She was the one who took her to a ceremony that, she claims, was decisive.

According to Rincón, a group of people came to her house and perceived a "smell of sulfur" in different places. "They put a hand on my back and started to pray. I thought it was like science fiction. Suddenly they said to me: 'In the mighty name of Jesus, out demons!' At that moment my body became rigid, my hands stuck to my torso, I started convulsing and fell to the floor," she recounted.

The most shocking moment, she said, was when her friend assured her that she was screaming with a voice that was not her own. "Inside I was thinking about what was happening to me. I saw everything orange, my eyes rolled back. When I came to, I thought they had drugged me. In the end, I broke down and started to cry. They were also crying, very scared," she said.

After what happened, the people who were with her told her that she was already "free." For the actress, that experience marked the beginning of a personal and spiritual transformation. She found refuge in charitable work, visiting prisons and helping people living on the streets.

"Jesus is in each one of us and when you help your neighbor, you're serving Him. I was lost, in hell. I opened all the wrong doors, but God decided I deserved to be redeemed," she stated.
