The Argentine Government came out to respond to the Russian embassy after it denied the existence of a disinformation campaign against President Javier Milei. The answer was given by Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, who confirmed that the case is already under analysis by the Argentine Justice
.The statement comes in the midst of the scandal generated by the international investigation that revealed a network of operations promoted from Russia to influence local public opinion and discredit the Government. Faced with this, the Russian embassy sought to delegitimize the report and assured that there is no evidence to support the accusations
.
Through a statement released on Telegram, the diplomatic representation maintained that the reports are part of “anti-Russian” materials and described the investigation as an “artificially inflated” story, insisting that no concrete evidence was presented. In addition, he regretted what he considered an attempt to cloud bilateral relations
between the two countries.This is not the first time that Russia has taken this position. In June 2025, the embassy had already rejected similar accusations and denied any type of link with an alleged network of influence in Argentina, stating that its role is limited to strengthening cooperation between the two countries
