Another municipal police officer and drug dealer in Córdoba: municipal officer arrested for selling drugs to minors
This also happened in Tancacha, Córdoba. An FPA operation dismantled a drug sales point in the town
The Anti-Narcotics Police Force (FPA) carried out an operation in Tancacha that resulted in the arrest of a municipal employee. The man, 41 years old, was accused of selling cocaine at his home and through delivery services. The judicial investigation lasted four months before the procedure.
The raid was conducted at a house on Belgrano Street at 1000, where officers seized doses of cocaine and cash. They also confiscated packaging materials and cell phones linked to the case. All the material will be examined by force specialists.
The arrest caused a strong reaction in the community because he is a municipal worker. In addition to his official duties, he was engaged in drug sales. This incident reinforces concerns about the penetration of drug trafficking in towns in the provincial interior.

Aggravated sale and minors involved
Judicial sources confirmed that the detainee was charged with aggravated drug trafficking. The accusation is based on the fact that among the buyers were minors, which increases the severity of the penalty provided by law.
The investigation revealed that the accused offered drugs both at his home and through home deliveries. This method allowed him to expand his network in different neighborhoods of the city and evade police controls. The delivery methodology is increasingly common in street-level drug dealing.
The case once again exposes the threat of drug trafficking in small communities, where the closeness among neighbors amplifies the social harm. Drug sales by public employees further undermine trust in institutions. Authorities warn about the risk of normalizing these practices.

Another municipal drug dealer arrested in Tancacha months ago
This is not the first episode of this kind in the town. In June 2023, another municipal employee, 27 years old, was arrested along with his partner for drug sales. Both operated a cocaine kiosk at their house on Sarmiento Street at 1100 and made home deliveries.
During that operation, also led by the FPA, vehicles, money, cocaine, and packaging materials were seized. The couple was charged with aggravated drug trafficking. The situation of their minor children was evaluated by the justice system.
The recurrence of these incidents reveals a worrying pattern in Tancacha. Two municipal employees have been arrested in a few months for street-level drug dealing. The situation highlights the need to strengthen control mechanisms and transparency within the state sector.
