Antonela Roccuzzo spoke for the first time about her private life with Lionel Messi
In her first cover for Vogue, the influencer from Rosario spoke like never before about her family life in the United States
For the first time, Antonela Roccuzzo opened a window into her intimate life with Lionel Messi. In an exclusive interview with the Latin American edition of Vogue, the wife of the Argentine star shared details of her family life, her connection to Argentina, and how she navigates motherhood with her three children: Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro.
“I find it hard to break out of the routine; it's important for me to maintain order at home; otherwise, it's difficult with the kids”, confessed Antonela. “In the end, everything revolves around them”. In fact, she explained that together with Messi, they organize all commitments in the morning so that the afternoons are exclusively reserved for the children.
However, as time passes and her children grow, Roccuzzo feels that the time has come to reconnect with her own interests. “Before, I didn't allow myself to, my children were very young, and my priority was to be with them. Now they are older... I don't feel as guilty. I have more desire to do new things”, she stated, referring to her growing involvement in fashion campaigns and philanthropic initiatives.

Behind the impeccable public image, Antonela revealed that normalcy prevails in her home. “We are a super normal family, very united. We are a team, and we have to move forward supporting each other”, she affirmed. Beyond the flashes and international events, the essential seems unchanged: “I want my children to have good values, to be respectful of people, to appreciate things... It's essential that they know we are no better than anyone else”.
The dialogue with Vogue also allowed Antonela to show her emotional connection to her roots. Despite having settled in different cities around the world due to her husband's career, she confesses that there are customs they never abandoned. “We left, but we are still there. Whether it's drinking mate, watching Argentine channels... in some way, we always try to stay connected with Argentina”, she expressed. When asked what she misses most about Rosario, she didn't hesitate: “The barbecue with the family is what I miss the most. Always and to this day”.

In one of the most intimate moments of the interview, Antonela spoke about her relationship with Messi from a less seen perspective: that of the partner who supports and encourages her. “Leo is supporting me a lot. He advises me, he listens to me. It's from one side and the other”, she assured, highlighting the active role of the national team's captain in her personal and professional growth.
