The 2026 tax fair will run from July 13 to July 24 and will suspend administrative deadlines, but not the due dates for tax obligations.

The measure was officially announced by ARCA through General Resolution 5863/2026 and establishes which obligations are covered during the recess.

What is the 2026 tax fair and when will it take place

The 2026 tax fair was officially announced by the Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) through General Resolution 5863/2026, published in the Official Gazette on June 12.

The administrative recess period will take place from July 13 to July 24, 2026. During these two weeks, procedural deadlines for certain administrative actions will be suspended.

Which procedures are suspended during the tax fair

During the 2026 tax fair, administrative business days are not counted for certain procedures before ARCA.

  • Responses to audit requests.

  • Submission of defenses.

  • Processing of administrative summaries.

  • Execution of closures.

If a request was notified and its due date fell within the fair period, the counting of business days will continue from Monday, July 27, 2026.

Which obligations are not suspended during the tax fair

The 2026 tax fair does not change the due dates for submitting tax returns or making tax payments.

According to General Resolution 5863/2026, the following obligations must be fulfilled on the scheduled dates:

  • Submission of monthly and annual tax returns.

  • Payment of taxes.

  • Payment of advances.

  • Payment of installments for moratoriums and payment plans.

  • Electronic invoicing and other operational obligations.

Arizmendi's recommendations for the 2026 tax fair

From Arizmendi, they advised taking some measures before the start of the recess to avoid inconveniences during those two weeks.

  • Review the Electronic Tax Address before July 13.

  • Plan payments and generate Electronic Payment Vouchers (VEP) in advance.

  • Inform clients that tax due dates remain in effect during the fair.

What changes from July 27

Once the 2026 tax fair is over, the suspended administrative deadlines will be counted again from Monday, July 27.
