Emiliano Martínez will make the leap into the world of entertainment with his own film on Netflix.

Under the title Dibu Martínez: The Kid Who Stops Time, the production will cover his personal and sporting history, from his beginnings to his consecration as one of the great figures of the Argentine National Team.

The project was presented along with other upcoming releases of the platform and will be directed by Gustavo Cova, with a screenplay by Hernán Casciari and illustrations by Ricardo Siri, better known by the stage name Liniers, author of the renowned Macanudo comic strip. The proposal will combine exclusive testimonies, archival material and animated segments, with a narrative that will seek to show both the soccer journey and the goalkeeper's most intimate side

Although the release date has not yet been confirmed, the film is expected to arrive later this year, amid growing expectations for the figure of the world's champion archer.
