Argentina's agribusiness sector closed November 2025 with historic results that confirm an essential shift in the country's productive and commercial policy. According to official data, during the penultimate month of the year, 10.09 million tons of agribusiness products were exported for a total of USD 4.715 billion, which represents a year-on-year increase of 36% in volume and 25% in value compared with November 2024.
The information was released by the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, which reports to the Ministry of Economy, and was prepared by the Undersecretariat of Agrifood Markets and International Integration on the basis of INDEC statistics. The record constitutes the sector's best monthly performance in at least a decade.

The growth was widespread. A total of 25 agribusiness complexes showed improvements in the quantities exported compared with the same month last year. The largest jump correplied to the wheat complex, which increased its foreign sales by 133%, with 1.38 million tons, driven mainly by wheat grain. It was followed by barley, with a 110% increase and almost 199 thousand tons, and the forestry industry, with a 91% increase.
Tobacco (+88%), legumes (+87%), rice (+85%), and soybeans also stood out, with a 75% year-on-year increase, reaching 5.74 million tons, mainly due to by-products and soybeans. The data dismantles the narrative of export stagnation.
In terms of value, 12 complexes reached the highest export amounts of the last 10 years, totaling USD 1.043 billion. These include wheat, sunflower, cattle, sorghum, rice, beekeeping, stone fruits, confectionery, aromatic plants and spices. This is complemented by a revealing fact: in 2025, 26 products that had gone years without recording foreign sales were exported, a clear sign of diversification and market recovery.

95% of exports were concentrated in 10 key complexes, led by soybeans, corn, wheat, sunflower and barley, with a presence in more than 100 international destinations. The main buyers were China, Brazil, Vietnam, Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Ireland, Chile and Türkiye, which together accounted for more than 55% of shipments.
The figures confirm the impact of a change in the model. With clear rules, trade openness and a strategy of international integration, agribusiness has once again become a driver of growth, generation of genuine dollars and economic recovery.
