The journalist and host of A24, "Baby" Etchecopar, addressed the case of the financier Elías Piccirillo and made strong statements about Jésica Cirio in an interview with Intrusos (América). The communicator did not hesitate to express his opinion on the scandal involving the alleged "Nordelta scammer."
Elías Piccirillo was arrested on March 20 in the exclusive Yacht de Nordelta neighborhood. Since then, he has been under investigation for an alleged scam that would amount to six million dollars. Meanwhile, it emerged that Jésica Cirio might own 42 apartments, which sparked even more speculation about her financial situation.
Baby Etchecopar explained the fraudulent scheme
In a conversation with Intrusos, Etchecopar explained what he considers a recurring mechanism in certain financial operations in Nordelta. "Piccirillo is a crook," he began bluntly.

According to his details, in these fraudulent schemes, maneuvers are carried out that allow money laundering. "It cost 60, they paid 80, they sold it for 40, but they laundered," he explained. He also mentioned that many of these operations could involve unsuspecting buyers, who were required to pay large sums in advance.
Jésica Cirio in the spotlight of the scandal
Regarding the ex-wife of Martín Insaurralde, Etchecopar stated that he doesn't consider her guilty of any irregularity, but described her as someone with the ability to spot economic opportunities. "She is not guilty, she's savvy and jumps at the chance when she sees money," he assured.
He also criticized the lack of judicial investigation into her assets. "If I buy an apartment, they want to know where I got the money from, but they never ask her anything," questioned the Radio Rivadavia host.
The case remains under investigation, and both the legal future of Piccirillo and the implications for other figures related to the case are yet to be determined.
