Bonaerense Kirchnerist senator Sergio Berni criticized the national Government's economic program and, following the electoral defeat in the province, threatened to overthrow President Javier Milei.
“The public understood that Milei is completely exhausted, that he must change course and that his days are numbered if he doesn't change it,” threatened the K legislator.
In the same vein, he added: “Is there any doubt that society doesn't have much more resistance to endure this yoke weighing on its shoulders? He has a mandate until 2027, but we have to see if society can continue to withstand it.”

“If he doesn't change, society will remove him. This is what we're seeing, society is fed up, it's tired of all this. It can't endure any longer,” Berni insisted.
The failed former Security Minister under Axel Kicillof stated that, according to him, “when the economic model is exhausted, the candidate is the least important. Milei's problem, although it is a political problem, is that he subordinated politics to an economic model that doesn't work.”
“Instead of subordinating politics to the needs of the people, he subordinated politics to an exhausted economic model,” he reaffirmed, after being part of the previous Kirchnerist government of Alberto Fernández and Cristina Kirchner, which left the country on the verge of the worst crisis in history.

The Kirchnerist internal conflict
Kirchnerist legislator Berni also questioned Governor Axel Kicillof's decision to split the local elections, pointing out that he achieved “a tactical victory instead of a strategic victory.”
“The great victory should be on October 26, and we hope that all leaders understand the value of the October 26 election in order to transform this sad reality that Milei is bringing to Argentina,” declared the defender of a model that left the country in hyperinflation and with more than half of Argentines below the poverty line.
He also called for Peronism to compete united in the formation of the National Congress, and warned that splitting the elections could give La Libertad Avanza the opportunity to modify its strategy ahead of October 26.
