Boca plans to eliminate the attendance filter for members at La Bombonera
The measure, which is not yet official, seeks greater fairness in response to high demand and could debut on the fourth matchday against Racing
In recent hours, Boca's management has been considering a change in the membership access system for matches at La Bombonera. The club is looking to eliminate the attendance filter that requires having attended at least 70% of the matches in the past year in order to reserve a spot for each home game.
According to various sources, the idea is to restart the system so that all members start from scratch, although official confirmation is still pending. The main objective would be to organize the reservation of seats more equitably given the large number of active members, which far exceeds the stadium's capacity (57,200).

Due to the proximity of the upcoming match against Unión, which will be played this Friday at 7:30 p.m. for the second round of the Torneo Clausura, the new scheme would only take effect in the fourth round, when Xeneize hosts Racing on the weekend of August 10.
The debate arises just as the team returns to La Bombonera after the draw against Argentinos Juniors at the start of the tournament and has been fueled by the possibility that Miguel Ángel Russo will field Leandro Paredes against Tatengue. The new signing is expected to have his first minutes since his return to the club and would be one of the main attractions of the matchday.

Why does the filter exist?
The filter, in place for the past three years, was implemented to give priority to those who attended more frequently, but it also caused discontent among fans who, for various reasons, did not reach the minimum percentage and were left out.
Now, Boca is considering alternatives that could include raffles or digital methods to manage reservations, although no concrete details of the new system have been disclosed.
