Bullrich confronted Toviggino and sent him a legal notice regarding his statements about Francos.
The Minister of Security replied to the exchange between the AFA official and the Chief of Staff
Patricia Bullrichbecame fully involved in the controversy betweenGuillermo Francos and Pablo Toviggino, one of the main leaders of the AFA, by sending him a legal notice urging him to retract his statements against the Chief of Cabinet.
"To the AFA Treasurer who believes he has the right to wish death upon the Chief of Cabinet: retract or face the consequences," Bullrich wrote on her X account, where she attached the legal document sent to the official.

The minister directly targeted Toviggino's behavior: "If we want to have visiting fans back in the stadiums, we need an AFA that sets an example, not officials who behave like hooligans," she stated.
The origin of the conflict and Francos's response
Everything began a few days ago, when Francos publicly criticized the return of visiting fans to First Division matches, promoted by AFA. Toviggino's response was not long in coming, and he published a tweet attacking the official, which later led to a verbal escalation that now directly involves the Government.
When asked about the issue in an interview with LN+, Francos replied with irony: "This character... told me I had yellow teeth... in any case, I would check if he has green fingers, considering what he touches...," he said, clearly alluding to Toviggino.

He added: "I don't know what Toviggino did to claim the World Cup for himself. That cup was won by Messi and the players who were part of that extraordinary team."
To conclude, the Chief of Cabinet drew a comparison: "Scaloni built a great team, just as President Milei built a great government team for the country."
