Opera Fun, one of the shopping centers developed byGrupo Proaco and located in Villa Carlos Paz, is beginning a new stage of growth with a private investment aimed at expanding its commercial offerings and incorporating new entertainment experiences.
The project includes the opening of new stores during the summer season and in the first half of the year, consolidating the complex as a commercial and recreational hub in one of the most important tourist cities in the country.
The new stage includes an estimated investment of 100 million pesos, aimed at infrastructure works and enhancement of common areas.

The plan includes the opening of 13 new stores, reaching an active leasable area of 3,260 m², with a focus on entertainment, gastronomy, services, and technology.
Economic impact and job creation
Opera Fun's growth will have a direct impact on the local economy.
With the new openings, the shopping center plans to generate more than 100 direct and indirect jobs, supporting the city's tourism and commercial development.
Currently, Opera Fun has a base of operating stores that make up its active commercial offerings.
The main ones include Carrefour Express, Babel Viajes, Veterinaria Alem, Tejano Outlet, Rapipago, and Grupo Fitness's gym, X Forma.
Opera Fun's offerings in Carlos Paz
During January, new offerings are being added that reinforce Opera Fun's profile as a space for family entertainment and consumption.

The highlights include the opening of "FUN sobre hielo", a 325 m² (3,498.27 ft²) ice skating rink —the only permanent one in Villa Carlos Paz and in the province of Córdoba—; Go Park, with interactive games and simulators; and World Unlimited Gaming Zone, with a virtual reality offering.
In gastronomy, Mr. Coffee (specialty coffee shop), Dolche Pastelería, Be Fruit, Grido Helados, and Wollen are being added. In addition, Radio Ultra and TechnoShop have opened their doors.
Lucas Salim and the generation of real economic activity

From the Retail unit we strategically manage shopping centers, generating real economic activity, as well as proposals and experiences for the final consumer that are sustainable over time", stated Lucas Salim, CEO and founder of Proaco.
Starting in March, the growth plan will continue with the addition of Pintecord, Estudio Moda IN —a fashion and apparel design school— and two new fast food restaurants in the food court.
In parallel, the complex is strengthening its service offerings with the largest covered parking lot in Villa Carlos Paz, which has 200 parking spaces, and the addition of two parking spaces with chargers for electric vehicles, which will be operational soon.
