Cassandra Elizabeth Ventura, known professionally as Cassie, provided a harrowing testimony in the trial against Sean "Diddy" Combs. In front of the jury, the singer recounted having suffered very painful urinary tract infections as a result of the sexual encounters he organized with other men.
During her statement, Ventura explained that after those situations she felt a constant burning sensation when urinating. The infections were so frequent that conventional antibiotics stopped being effective, and she had to resort to stronger medications. She even, according to her account, started consuming opioids to numb the pain.
A pattern of physical and psychological abuse
The artist stated that, in addition to the infections, she also suffered sores on her tongue as a result of forced oral sex during those encounters. She brought up these issues to Diddy, but she claimed he ignored them.

According to her testimony, she needed massages, intravenous hydration, and a special diet to recover from frequent panic attacks. In many cases, the crises were triggered after the abuses. She also confessed that she avoided kissing the companions because she considered it too intimate an act, but Diddy insisted that she do it.
