Historically, technology has been cheaper abroad, with differences of up to 50%. This is still the case today, although accessing those savings requires traveling or buying on platforms such as Amazon.

Prices may be lower, but taxes and shipping must be added. In addition, delivery times usually exceed one month, which is not practical for those who need the device immediately.

Meanwhile, abroad, the purchase requires full payment in dollars, while in Argentina many models are offered in interest-free installments. That flexibility can tip the balance toward the local market.

Added to this is the official 12-month warranty offered for devices purchased through authorized channels, something that is not available in the so-called gray market.
