Lourdes Fernández, known artistically as Lowrdez, is going through one of the most painful chapters of her life. In recent hours, a court document was leaked that details in stark terms the events that led to the arrest of her ex-partner, Leandro Esteban García Gómez, who is accused of assaulting her and holding her against her will. The businessman was indicted with pretrial detention and a multimillion-dollar embargo after being charged with gender-based violence and unlawful deprivation of liberty.
According to journalist Cora de Barbieri on A la tarde (América TV), the case file reconstructs the moments of terror that the Bandana singer allegedly experienced on October 1. That day, around 3:30 p.m., Fernández and García Gómez had a heated argument in the apartment they shared. In the midst of the altercation, he allegedly punched her in the head and face, causing the artist to fall to the floor. There, according to the document, he continued assaulting her by kicking her in the ribs.

Lowrdez's cries for help alerted a neighbor, who called 911 after hearing the pleas for help and violent noises. When the police arrived at the scene, around 6 p.m., they ordered the accused to leave the residence. Shortly after, the singer—visibly shaken—managed to contact a trusted person to tell them what had happened and explain that she had been locked inside, without keys or a phone charger. That call was key to her rescue.
