Cinthia Fernández once again addressed one of the most controversial moments of her media career: the political campaign in which she appeared in a thong.
In an intimate conversation on La mañana con Moria (eltrece), the panelist surprised everyone by admitting that today she feels regret for that decision, which at the time sparked a strong social debate.
The topic came up when Moria Casán praised Cinthia's current academic pursuits, as she is currently studying law.

According to Fernández herself, that change of direction has also influenced the way she interprets decisions she made years ago.
While they were discussing the financial effort involved in her daughters' education, the host recalled her beginnings and her media breakthrough with the iconic thong, both in the artistic field and in her political campaign. Cinthia did not avoid the reference: "I regret that."
When it was mentioned, Fernández explained that such exposure was part of a marketing strategy and clarified that she would not do it again.
"It's not something I'm proud of, it's not something my daughters will be proud of," she stated sincerely.
The comment provoked an immediate reaction from Moria, who questioned her directly: "What brainwashed you, studying law? One must stand by oneself. Let's not reject our opportunities."
From her perspective, society continues to burden women who show their bodies with prejudice and underestimates them intellectually.
Although the panel insisted, Cinthia maintained her position. "It was embarrassing," she said. Nevertheless, she acknowledged that the gesture had managed to spark a discussion, just as recently happened with the case of Virginia Demo and the photos of Ricardo Fort.
"At the time, I did a bit of that. It's not something I feel proud of because now, as I study, I see a more serious side of life. The country needs something else," she explained.
