In a brutal act of sincerity, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton confessed that Trump should receive the Nobel Peace Prize if he manages to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Hours before the scheduled meeting between Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Alaska, Clinton said on a podcast that if Trump achieves the end of the war without Ukraine having to cede its territory to the aggressor, she would nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The former First Lady added that the current president "is not meeting with a friend, he is meeting with an adversary who wants to see the destruction of the United States and the Western alliance."

Meanwhile, a high-level meeting between Trump and Putin at a military base in Anchorage is taking place. In an interview aboard Air Force One before departing for Alaska, Trump predicted that his meeting with the Russian president "will go very well," but if that is not the case, he will go home quickly.
Trump also posted on his social media a video taken from the same informal press conference he gave on the presidential plane, where he is asked what would define the summit's success. "I want to see a ceasefire quickly. I don't know if it will be today, but I won't be happy if it's not today. I'm in this to stop the deaths," he summarized.
The Republican replied with humor to the sincerity of his staunch political rival when informed by a Fox News journalist of the statements. "That was very nice. Maybe I'll have to start liking her again," Trump joked.
